DreamCatcher Park is a fully accessible athletic facility located at the Surprise Recreation Campus near the Surprise Stadium. This multi-use athletic facility was designed to provide athletes with special needs a safe and fun place to participate in sports and recreation programs. The park is barrier-free and features a urethane-based surface, making it safe and maneuverable for mobility devices such as wheelchairs and walkers. Gates to the playing surface, front entrance and walkways were also widened to accommodate wheelchairs and walkers and to ensure a level of comfort to everyone. It is the first facility of its kind in the state of Arizona and the grandstand, shade cover and stadium seating sets DreamCatcher Park apart from any other in the Nation. DreamCatcher Park is home to Adaptive Recreation programs such as baseball, soccer and track and field as well as mainstream tee-ball and coach-pitch baseball.
